SHOP THE WAFFLE

The Golden Waffle Paperweight transforms a familiar shape into a small sculptural presence. I chose the Belgian waffle as a motif, a nod to where I come from and to a shared collective memory. Artisans create each piece through sand casting, then give it a golden surface. The process is precise and the outcome never identical. Every waffle carries its own texture.
The object keeps a purpose, it holds papers in place and grounds a space, yet it also plays. It introduces a subtle smile into the everyday and invites a form of creativity that stays open and light. This compact piece brings warmth to a desk, a shelf, or a studio. It is made for people who appreciate objects with a story that does not need to shout.
It is a fragment of Belgium shaped elsewhere, a dialogue between places, a reminder that design can move, travel, and connect. No Golden Waffle Paperweight is ever the same, because each one is shaped by human hands through the sand casting process. That is what gives it its singular presence.
