A capsule blending utility and craftsmanship, with bags designed for urban movement and patterns that bridges tradition and contemporary gestures.

I teamed up with Eastpak to create two models, each available in two colorways: black with purple embroidery or purple with black embroidery. Four bags, imagined as companions for movement, for the pace of the city and the rhythm of travel.

The design reveals its character through the details. Pockets that keep freshness close. A mesh pocket that lets music follow your steps. An extra handle that shifts the way you carry. A laptop compartment, a key holder, and discreet touches that transform the everyday into something fluid and intuitive.

The appliqué embroideries draw from Tenango motifs, rooted in Mexican craft. They carry fragments of a living tradition into new contexts. The fabrics were sourced from Eastpak’s overstocks, to avoid unnecessary production. The embroidery itself was crafted in Bruges, Belgium, by the embroiderer of the Vatican, with the precision of gestures passed through time.

This capsule is about utility meeting craft, movement infused with poetry, and the celebration of multicultural voices that continue to shape how we live and carry meaning.
