Designing for Le Saut Hermès opened up an exciting creative playground, where animal performance met choreographic energy. I received the ambitious task of conceiving and producing the costumes and the props for this midtime-show performance, imagined as a modern mythology by choreographer duo I Could Never Be A Dancer. A full creative universe unfolded, developed and produced between Belgium, France, and Mexico, before coming to life in the Grand Palais in Paris.

The scenography of Horse City, performed by 28 characters and their equine partners, emerged through a continuous dialogue between craft, movement, and emotion. Each silhouette was designed to exist in flow, to mirror the rhythm of the performers, the horses and the music, specially composed by Owlle.

Beyond the technical challenges, the whole creation reflects a particular vision of the imagination: inclusive, bold, and playfully hybrid.

Final result is a performance where animals, performers, riders, and costume echo one another. To tame each other, and finally, embrace
